How to create a subdomain
This article will go over creating a Subdomain under your cPanel account.
Procedure
- Log into cPanel on the account to add the subdomain on.
- Click "Domains" under the "Domains" section.
- Click the "Create A New Domain" button.
- Enter the subdomain name to add in the "Domain" text box.
- Deselect the "Share document root (/home/username/public_html) with “domain.tld”." option.
- Enter the directory where you want the files for this subdomain to exist.
- Click the "Submit" button.
Addon domains, Subdomains, and Aliases are missing from cPanel in Jupiter Theme
Symptoms
After updating to version 106 of the cPanel software, the "Addon Domains," "Aliases," and "Subdomains" interfaces no longer appear under the "Domains" area of cPanel.
Description
"Addon Domains," "Aliases," and "Subdomains" were deprecated in cPanel version 100 and have been removed in version 106. The functionality of those interfaces has been consolidated to the "Domains" interface.
